2.25" Slurry Injection Tool

Description:

ESP's 2.25-inch OD Slurry Injection Tool was specifically designed for the injection of Zero-Valent Iron (ZVI) and other non-soluble amendments. The tool is advanced to the target depth using 2-1/4-inch Geoprobe® probe rods. Once the target depth is reached, the rods are retracted to expose four (4) 1-inch injection ports equipped with an internal deflection nozzle.

The upper and lower sections of the tool isolate the injection interval, allowing slurry to be directed laterally into the treatment zone. The tool string is then raised to the next treatment interval using either the 2.25-inch Injection Pull Cap or a Rod Grip Handle, while injection is performed through a 2.25-inch Injection Cap.

This horizontal injection tool has been successfully used to inject a variety of non-soluble amendments, including ZVI, EHC®, Provect-IR®, Klozur® KP, ORC®, and proppant sand, to name a few. The tool can be easily disassembled for inspection, decontamination, and cleaning.
